In a palette of red, yellow, brown, black, white and grey, a wood-burning flame and a box
of gold are set against a black background. The roaring flames fill the air with ash. The
gold box with the lid open holds 4 nuggets of gold. The former on the left, the latter on the
right. This painting by Kweku Okokroko is from a series of paintings that segue into
philosophical scholarship, derived from the Abrewa Posoposo Epic. A literary work
authored by Kweku Okokroko.
